The Senior Executive, Commercial, is responsible for managing end-to-end tender processes and supporting contract administration activities. The role ensures that all tenders and contracts are commercially sound, compliant with company policies, and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and coordinate the preparation, submission and management of commercial proposals and tenders, ensuring full compliance with client specifications and company policies.
- Identify and provide tender strategies, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Respond promptly to enquiries and follow up with customers after offers are made.
- Negotiate, execute and manage Charter Party Contracts and amendments with clients, ensuring compliance with the Company's Commercial Process.
- Manage and update opportunities in the internal CRM system.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of Charter Party contracts, including submitting pre and post contract forms for internal approvals.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify new business and cross-chartering opportunities to enhance revenue growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tendering, contracts or commercial roles, preferably within the marine or offshore industry
- Proficient in contract management and familiar with industry regulations
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
