This role combines clinical operations, administrative management, and healthcare IT/informatics support to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of allied health departments. The incumbent will work closely with department leads to enhance operational efficiency while driving system optimisation and digital initiatives.
Healthcare IT & Informatics Systems
- Administer, monitor, and enhance IT systems supporting clinical operations (e.g. EMR/Epic and related systems)
- Handle system change requests, perform configuration/build changes, and troubleshoot issues
- Support system integrations (internal/external), ensuring data integrity, security, and seamless workflows
- Drive system upgrades, automation, and digitalisation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Prepare IT workplans, support system implementation projects, and coordinate with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and business continuity protocols
- Conduct regular IT audits and maintain SOPs aligned with healthcare regulations
Data & Systems Support
- Perform data extraction, reporting, and analysis for operational and clinical needs
- Support system maintenance (servers, end-user computing, applications)
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and system lifecycle activities
Requirements
- Degree in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, IT, or related field
- At least 4 years of relevant experience combining clinical/hospital operations and healthcare IT systems (e.g. EMR/Epic, informatics platforms)
- Proven experience in budgeting, procurement, and operational analytics within a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of IT systems, data management, and information security practices
- Hands-on experience in system enhancements, integrations, and user support in hospital environments
