Job Summary
Lead strategic planning, issue management, governance, and programme monitoring for PAKEJ 2.0 and state-level initiatives to ensure effective implementation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess national priorities, policy directions, and socio-economic needs to support the development of PAKEJ 2.0 strategic planning.
- Identify gaps from previous initiatives and conduct analysis studies, including risk assessments for proposed initiatives.
- Collect, consolidate, and categorize state-level issues based on key areas such as infrastructure, socio-economic matters, and service delivery.
- Assess issue severity, urgency, and impact to prioritize resolution strategies, define ownership, and identify systemic issues requiring policy or programme intervention.
- Develop and align standardised templates for initiative proposals, programme tracking, reporting, KPIs, and performance measurement.
- Improve issue management processes through clear escalation notes, resolution tracking methods, and consistent programme governance documentation.
- Oversee programme implementation by monitoring progress against KPIs, timelines, budgets, issue trends, and overall performance.
- Coordinate inter-division issue resolution, drive continuous improvement, and capture lessons learned to strengthen future programme responsiveness.
Qualification & Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field, with a strong track record in Project Management and Supervisory.
- Certification in any Project Management Framework, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an added advantage.
- More than 5 years of work experience in Project Management and/or Project Management Office.
- Possess a good understanding and knowledge of national strategic plans and blueprints.
Technical Competencies/Skills
- Good in Microsoft Office applications
- Project Management Tools
- Good understanding of the Communications & Multimedia Act 1998 (Act 588), Postal Services Act 2012 (Act 741), and other relevant Acts under the purview of MCMC
- Excellent report writing in Bahasa Melayu and English;
