As the public healthcare supply chain agency, we design and execute a national level end-to-end supply chain blueprint in partnership with 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) in Singapore.

Job Purpose

To support and manage procurement-related stock control and inventory management activities to ensure optimal availability of healthcare supplies, medical consumables, and equipment. The role ensures inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted supply to support patient care operations within a public healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a good physical layout and maximise storage space
  2. Maintain effective inventory control systems for the central and sub stores, following First In First Out (FIFO) or First Expire First Out (FEFO) method.
  3. Maintain stocks at end user areas according to respective Par levels
  4. Suggest addition / reduction of par levels according to end users usage
  5. Review and co-ordinate with Purchasing to optimise holding stock to meet the department's objectives for Days Inventory On Hand (DIOH) / Material replenishment planning and also minimise the occurence of stock-outs.

Job Requirements

1. At least Degree graduate. preferbly in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
2. OR Diploma graduate with at least 8 years of experience
3. Proficient in Warehouse Management System, SAP MM, eProcurement tools, Operation Research
4. IT skills & proficiency in Flow Diagrams, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word is a must.
5. Ability to manage software simulation for warehouse flow is highly preferred
6. Effective in verbal, listening and written communication skills
7. Ability to blend operational excellence with strategic planning
8. Possess strong interpersonal communication, proactive analytical and negotiation skills. Hands-on persons with high drive and problem solving approach
