About the Role
The Marketing Senior Executive / Assistant Manager plays a key role in driving brand growth, supporting go-to-market execution, and ensuring consistent brand presence across all consumer touchpoints. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams - sales, product development, and agencies - to deliver effective marketing programs that build brand equity, drive trial, and accelerate business performance. This role is ideal for a proactive and independent individual with a passion for building brands in diverse categories, driving market growth through creativity, innovation and strategic planning.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for developing, implementing and executing effective brand strategies that drive brand awareness and profitability for categories under the group.
Translate brand positioning into clear briefs for creative, digital and local team, supporting market and product launches.
Accountable for brand concepts, managing the brand's positioning and messaging and overall identity to maintain a distinct and competitive presence in the marketplace.
Manage portfolio deployment, campaign translation, local brand management, sharing key market insights to ensuring brand consistency and growth in a competitive market.
Plan and execute consumer and trade marketing activities across digital, retail and on-ground channels. Develop POSM, merchandising materials and in-store activation concepts.
Manage and develop initiatives fit-for-use toolkits and guide local team for execution
Develop and support team in effective and efficient realization of regional brand strategy with strong innovation master plan, and holistic brand campaigns with optimised media mix especially new launches
Provide technical and commercial support to the marketing team, assisting in solving their technical challenges relating to brand constraints
Partner with sales teams to ensure strong retail presence and customer satisfaction, analyse data, and recommend action plan to drive brand presence within local markets.
Stay up-to-date on relevant regulatory and legal requirements for the range of products, ensuring all marketing and product claims comply with industry standards.
Prepare relevant doc / forms to track marketing activities
Support the planning of websites, digital campaigns and project launches.
Requirements
Minimum of five years relevant experience in marketing, brand management or creative agency. Preferably within the FMCG industry with experience in beer or alcohol related products.
Experience with digital marketing strategies, including social media, influencer partnerships and e-commerce.
Strong project management skills and worked with external creative team or within a creative agency.
Able to work independently, good organisational and time management skills, ability to multi-task.
Flexible and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Strong process driven mindset, ensuring a meticulous roll out of day-to-day activities
Ability to create simple, effective toolkits for brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and is comfortable to present.
Able to work and collaborate with a cross-functional team.
Willingness and openness to learn.
