Job Description

This opening post is for an experienced hire, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. We are seeking an individual with a creative eye for outreach and marketing to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in increasing awareness and enhancing the profile of NUS Business School as the premier choice for prospective undergraduate students. The ideal candidate will manage various marketing, outreach, and admissions activities, ensuring cohesive and effective communication across all platforms.


Marketing and Outreach Initiatives:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote BIZ Undergraduate programmes.
  • Conduct and deliver engaging admission outreach talks to prospective students.
  • Plan, organize, and manage outreach events to attract and retain high-caliber students.


Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and execute key engagement events such as NUS Open House, Welcome Tea, and online admissions sharings.
  • Represent NUS Business School at recruitment fairs and relevant outreach events.
  • Host students from local pre-university institutions for on-campus learning journeys.
  • Respond to event enquiries through phone, email, and social media channels.


Digital and Print Media Management:

  • Oversee content creation, management, and updates for the BIZ Undergraduate programmes website.
  • Produce high-quality marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and direct mailers.
  • Create and distribute digital media content, including e-mailers and social media posts.


Social Media and Online Presence:

  • Manage social media platforms for BIZ Undergraduate programmes, including content creation and performance analysis.
  • Leverage social media and online platforms to maximize outreach and engagement.


Admissions Support:

  • Advise and respond to admissions enquiries for online and walk-in enquiries.
  • Assist in undergraduate admissions operations and processes.
  • Participate in the selection and administration of scholarships, bursaries, and discretionary admissions.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Undertake other administrative duties and projects as assigned.
  • There may be opportunities for the role to expand to include student support and/or student life responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in marketing or a related field.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in marketing and social media management. Knowledge on tertiary education admissions will be beneficial.
  • Excellent understanding of the educational landscape of local undergraduate studies, undergraduate student behaviour and preferences.
  • Strong digital marketing skills and experience.
  • Good eye for design with intermediate knowledge of image and video editing skills.
  • Proficiency in using various social media platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively in writing.
  • Friendly, approachable, and a team player.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
