About The Role

As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager (Central Purchasing and Contract Management), you are required to be directly involved in contract transition activities, pricing setup, demand planning, central purchasing operations, and monitoring of stock health and supplier delivery performance. This role must be able to apply appropriate level of control levels to ensure consistency and reliability of supply assurance. This position also plays a vital role in engaging with stakeholders including Strategic Procurement (SP), PHIs site representative, and vendors on matters related to forecasting, demand management, inventory planning, delivery commitments that impact on supply assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • As part of onboarding of institutions to ALPS Central Warehouse (CWH) to support National Drug Resiliency and other MOH-initiated stockpiling programme, oversee the establishment of master data in SAP
  • Responsible for SAP Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) setup for ALPS Central Warehouse, recommend and propose appropriate MRP parameters to ensure optimized inventory replenishment.
  • Responsible for SAP Master Data Setup, including maintenance of Price List, Purchasing Data, MRP parameters, storage location, purchasing order, Purchase Info Record (PIR), Schedule Agreement (SA) and PO etc.
  • Responsible for operationalizing contract cycle transition, brand change, price change etc and timely launch of purchasing process to secure stock availability at CWH upon contract commencement.
  • Responsible for managing supply issues in coordination with Strategic Procurement (SP) and vendors to mitigate supply disruption to PHIs demand. This includes stock assignment to various PHIs supported by CWH, working collaboratively with the Customer Service Operations team (CSO) to ensure timely updates and broadcast of information to respective institutions.
  • Engage SP teams on consumption trend, contract establishment, vendor performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Compile and monitoring Inventory planning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensuring KPIs target are met, and conduct root cause analysis for deviations with approrpriate actions.
  • Participate in monthly meetings with vendors for continuous improvement.
  • Support the generation of various reports on stock status and health for management and MOH reporting.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (e.g. Engineering) with minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment preferably with a focus on pharmaceutical or healthcare procurement.
  • Good team player, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with staff at all level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous in data analysis with keen eye for details, ensuring high-quality/accuracy of data.
  • Innovative with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Advanced Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Access, Microsoft 365.
  • Prior experience in material and inventory planning and strong understanding of MRP methodology is required.
  • Hands on experience in SAP MM or WM/SD module will be a plus.
  • Fresh Graduates with strong analytical and numerical skills are welcome to apply.
