About The Job

The Assistant Manager of Communications is responsible for shaping and executing Louis Vuitton's communications strategy in Singapore. This role drives media relations, press strategy, influencer engagement, advertising strategy, events and brand storytelling to strengthen brand desirability and visibility in the Singapore market.

Scope of work includes all product categories including Fashion, Leather Goods, Ready-to-wear, Watch and Jewelry, Travel and Home Collection, Beauty and Perfumes as well as Shoes and Accessories.

The ideal candidate blends strong luxury sensibilities with strategic thinking, creativity, and flawless execution.

Job responsibilities

Media & Press Relations

  • Develop and execute annual press and communications plans aligned with brand priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media, editors, journalists, stylists, and cultural tastemakers.
  • Secure quality press coverage across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
  • Oversee press office operations, including sample management, media requests, and product seeding.
  • Provide internal updates on media performance, market insights, and campaign impact.
  • Lead/Coordinate local & overseas photo shoot requests from stylists and manage samples rotation for Singapore

Brand Storytelling & Content

  • Localize global campaigns and initiatives into culturally relevant stories for Singapore audiences.
  • Craft compelling press releases and talking points

Events & Experiences

  • Plan and execute high-impact press events, interviews, store activations, and cultural partnerships.
  • Manage media attendance, talent handling, and press coverage for press and high-profile events.

Celebrity and KOL Relations

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with celebrities, KOLs, content creators, and influential communities.
  • Develop influencer strategy, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain product placements and celebrity/KOL endorsements.

Advertising

  • Implement advertising strategy based on targeted objectives set by local and regional directives
  • Ensure Louis Vuitton's share of voice is dominant

Budget & Administration

  • Manage communications budget, vendor contracts, and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in communications, public relations, or luxury brand management.
  • Established media network within Singapore across lifestyle, fashion, business, and digital outlets.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Passion for luxury, fashion, culture, and craftsmanship.
