Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to work on core actuarial valuation processes, including statutory and internal reporting, model change management, and financial analysis. By ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering accurate insights, the position directly supports our mission of maintaining financial strength and transparency. Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and delivery of statutory reporting requirements including RBC2 reserves, capital requirements, solvency ratios, statistics, etc

  • Support local reporting team with internal reporting requirements including Local Capital report, Early Warning T esting, board memos, etc

  • Support the quarterly model change management process, annual basis change and annual spot checking exercise

  • Analyse the financial results and variances, providing explanations to the senior members of the team.

  • Ensure compliance to statutory regulations, relevant actuarial standards and company policies.

  • Support ad-hoc projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

  • Good progress with actuarial exams from a recognized Actuarial examination body.

  • At least 3 years of actuarial valuation experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in statistical and actuarial software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Access, etc)

  • Working knowledge of AXIS will be an advantage
