Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with other discipline estimators and engineers across departments.
- Review tender documents, engineering drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates and quantity take-offs.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and cost build-ups using first principles and competitive industry rates.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to validate pricing and close scope gaps.
- Support tender submissions with cost data, proposal input, and timely clarifications during the bid process.
- Maintain and update company pricing databases ensure bid accuracy, documentation, and compliance with corporate guidelines.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost estimating for either C&S or M&E works.
- Experience in competitive bidding and tendering processes is preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of C&S or M&E construction methods, materials, and specifications.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, scope documents, and preparing accurate cost estimates.
