Job Description
Excelift is looking for a Senior Escalator Technician to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for escalator systems. If you are skilled in escalator servicing and take pride in delivering reliable and safe work, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance and servicing of escalators
- Troubleshoots and rectifies escalator faults safely and effectively
- Supports engineers in testing, commissioning, and modernisation works
- Responds to breakdowns and restores service promptly
- Ensures work quality and safety standards are met at all times
- Provides guidance and on-site support to junior technicians
- Reports defects and improvement areas for follow-up actions
Requirements
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in escalator maintenance or repair
- Able to read electrical diagrams and understand escalator control systems
- Responsible, safety-conscious, and willing to learn
- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
