Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Process Engineer (Senior/Principle) to support the development and manufacturing of III-V semiconductor devices. The role focuses on III-V epitaxy and wafer fabrication process development to support both R&D activities and production. The engineer will work on process optimization, yield improvement, cost control, and new product introduction (NPI), while collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and qualify III-V epitaxial growth and related wafer fabrication processes to support R&D and manufacturing.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, process stability, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Support new product introduction (NPI)
- Work on yield enhancement, cost reduction, and cycle time improvement.
- Collaborate with international teams on process development and problem resolution.
- Utilize AI/ML tools and data analytics to improve process control, productivity, and decision-making.
- Support characterization and failure analysis using advanced semiconductor metrology techniques.
Qualifications
Education
- Master's or PhD degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related semiconductor field is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree holders are welcome to apply, especially with relevant industry experience.
Experience & Technical Skills
- Knowledge of semiconductor materials and device fabrication processes, particularly III-V materials for Laser or Optoelectronics.
- Experience with III-V epitaxial growth techniques, especially MOCVD, is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication processes such as: Photolithography (DUV), PECVD, Dry/Wet Etch.
- Familiarity with semiconductor characterization and analysis tools is advantageous, including: SIMS, XRD, AFM, SEM, Photoluminescence.
- Experience using data analytics and AI/ML tools for process optimization is a strong advantage.
