Senior Engineering Specialist (Backend Equipment Engineering)

About the role - you will:

As a Senior Engineering Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting engineering initiatives and driving impactful technical improvements across backend equipment systems in two sites. You will collaborate with Engineers and cross‑functional teams to support projects and keep our manufacturing operations running efficiently.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing equipment setup, installation, buyoff, and qualification activities.
• Upgrading equipment involving mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, and software components.
• Supporting the Maintenance team in troubleshooting critical equipment issues to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and optimization initiatives for equipment performance and reliability.

About you:

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual with a strong passion for engineering and manufacturing technologies. You should possess:

• Strong interest in developing skills in mechatronics and/or software for manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems used in industrial equipment.
• Basic understanding of components, modules and their roles in automated systems.
• Willing to work on normal shift pattern
• Ability to work effectively in a multi‑disciplinary team environment.
• Requirement for software-focused position
  • PLC programming knowledge
  • Any of the software programming knowledge like C++, python etc

Your experience includes:

• A Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
• Relevant 2 to 5 years experience in equipment engineering, mechatronics, automation, or related fields.
