Senior Engineering Manager - SaaS (Series A start up)

Senior Engineering Manager | Singapore HQed (Hybrid/Remote) | Early stage SaaS start up

An early-stage Singapore SaaS company — building the white-label platform and infrastructure that powers some leading brands - is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to own two of its core product engineering squads and help shape the technical direction of the platform.

This is a rare dual-mandate role. You will be expected to operate at the strategic level — architecture decisions, cross-functional leadership, engineering culture - while remaining genuinely hands-on. Code reviews, technical spikes, design discussions. You will work directly alongside the CTO and CPO, reporting to the CTO, and lead approximately 15 engineers across Tech Leads, Mobile, Backend, Frontend, and QA.

The platform runs on GCP-hosted microservices (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL) and serves clients across dine-in, pickup, and delivery channels. You will own end-to-end architecture decisions, drive sprint execution, manage delivery across both squads, and translate product vision into engineering plans that actually ship - with quality and at pace.

The right person brings 10-15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5–8 years in engineering management or technical leadership while remaining hands on, and a strong track record of leading multi-squad teams in a SaaS or product environment. You are deeply familiar with cloud-native architecture, microservices patterns, and API design, and have enough breadth to engage meaningfully on mobile (iOS/Android) and modern frontend (React/React Native). Domain knowledge in e-commerce or F&B ordering platforms - POS integrations, delivery aggregators, multi-tenant SaaS - is a genuine differentiator here.
