Assist in the preparation and coordination of tenders for various marine civil construction projects, including reclamation, dredging, port development, and infrastructure projects.
Analyse and interpret tender documents, including project specifications, scope of work, conditions, and contractual requirements.
Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as when required.
Develop comprehensive construction sequence and bid strategies under the guidance of the Tender Manager.
Liaise with internal teams (engineering, quantity surveying, finance, contracts, and operations) during tender preparation.
Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and risk assessments within tenders.
Assist in preparing and presenting tender proposals, including cost estimates, schedules, and methodology for internal review and approval.
Assist in reviewing and evaluating tender submission documents, ensuring that all contractual, legal, and technical and operational aspects are addressed before submission.
Post-Tender Activities:
Participate and support post-tender presentation, interview, and clarifications with clients as when required.
Assist in conducting complete and quality handover to project management team (successful tender).
Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
At least 10 years of working experience.
Relevant experience in marine civil construction projects (e.g., dredging, reclamation, port, and coastal infrastructure works) will be considered an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Positive attitude.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and relevant construction planning / management software.
Familiarity with local regulations, standards, and bidding processes
