Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Engineer specializing in Marine Civil projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead tender management for innovative construction initiatives.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and coordination of tenders for marine civil construction projects, including dredging, reclamation, and port development.
Analyze and interpret tender documents, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
Develop detailed construction sequences and bidding strategies under the guidance of the Tender Manager.
Liaise with internal teams throughout the tender preparation process.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and conduct risk assessments within tenders.
Prepare and present comprehensive tender proposals for internal review.
Evaluate tender submission documents to ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and technical requirements.
Participate in post-tender presentations and clarifications with clients.
Support seamless handovers to the project management team upon successful tender award.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience.
Experience in marine civil construction projects such as dredging and reclamation is an advantage.
Strong ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tenders concurrently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and relevant construction planning/management software.
Familiarity with local regulations and bidding processes.
