What You'll Do:
- Plan transmission network expansion/developments and HVDC system to meet area load growth and generation.
- Provide consultation to large customers, agencies, EMA, gencos and others for supply to large developments and other connections at 66kV voltage and above
- Plan and design network connection and associated supply network for large customers taking supply at 66kV voltage and above.
- Plan and design generation connection for Gencos.
- Plan network reactive compensation devices for high voltage control and maximized network utilization.
- Prepare Agreements with customers, Gencos and others etc.
- Prepare project proposals and preparation of project paper for seeking EMA and management approval
- Planning of cable route for projects and connectivity to substations and customers/gencos
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
- Experience in planning/operation of transmission network or design of a distribution network is preferred
- Experience in using power system analysis software is preferred
- Preferably with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines
- Possess good oral and written communication skills
