Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance and support operations of District Cooling Systems (DCS) and Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) sites. Lead a team of engineers in optimising DCS and RCM operations and maintenance. Coordinate with the Operations team to troubleshoot technical issues related to DCS and RCM. Monitor equipment performance, recommend modifications, and propose innovative improvements. Develop and implement operations and maintenance procedures. Oversee the Permit To Work system, ensuring appropriate site assessments are performed. Supervise all maintenance processes, including contract management. Prepare and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with standards. Plan and implement service and maintenance programmes for DCS plants facilities. Manage repair schedules and evaluate cost estimates. Review and refine the maintenance programme and contractor maintenance reports. Track expenses and manage the maintenance budget. Conduct spares analysis to ensure critical spare availability. Submit maintenance performance reports and maintain all related documentation. Support internal and external audits, as well as statutory data submissions. Ensure compliance with all EHS regulations during operations and maintenance activities. Improve health, safety, and environmental protocols to safeguard the well-being of all stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or department head.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control & Instrumentation, or Air-conditioning Engineering. Higher NITEC holders with relevant experience may also be considered. Strong interest in advancing a career in the cooling systems sector. Solid understanding of ACMV and District Cooling System technical features. Practical experience in Energy Management Systems and familiarity with remote control and monitoring systems. Working knowledge of facilities, machinery, and equipment maintenance. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment practices, with a strong commitment to safety.
