Responsibilities:
Capacity Planning & Line Optimization
- Develop and maintain production capacity models for bumping processes
- Analyze bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput
- Perform capacity line balancing across equipment (e.g., plating, lithography, reflow ovens)
- Support ramp-up planning for new products and technologies
Time Study & Productivity Improvement
- Conduct time studies and motion analysis (e.g., using methods like Time and Motion Study)
- Define standard cycle times and optimize operator utilization
- Identify non-value-added activities and eliminate waste
Cost Analysis & Reduction
- Analyze manufacturing costs including labor, equipment, and consumables
- Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality
- Support budgeting and ROI analysis for new equipment or automation
Manufacturing Data Analysis
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): Cycle time, Throughput, Equipment utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Use statistical tools and data analytics to identify trends and issues
- Generate reports and dashboards for management
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Implement Kaizen activities to improve yield, cycle time, and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process, equipment, quality)
- Define Man Machine Ratio
Layout & Workflow Design
- Design and optimize production floor layout for efficiency and safety
- Improve material flow and reduce WIP (Work-In-Progress)
- Support automation and smart manufacturing initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or industrial engineering
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and simulation tools
- Understanding factory physics and queuing theory
- Project management skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
