This position is for PaxOcean Group, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.

Working Location: We will be relocating to 5 Jalan Samulun in November 2025 (nearest MRT: Boon Lay)

Position Summary

Independently develop structural design to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.

Tasks And Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule. Takes on project role.
Review external designers pre-contract technical specifications, general arrangement and drawing lists.
Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for the specific design requirement compliance, review, and approval.
Create the hull outfitting equipment sourcing technical specifications for cranes, deck machinery, outfitting, etc.
Conduct a technical assessment of the offer made by the seller.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of the drawings and specifications.
Prepare arrangement & detail outfitting drawings.
Develop and update weight report (weight and center of gravity).
Coordinates with detail designer / production designer and checks their processes and output.
Communicate with the person in charge of production on trouble shooting and visiting on-site if needed.
Safety and architectural outfitting coverage is an advantage.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Detail Design for Hull Outfitting newbuilding engineering design
Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline Character and Skill
Familiar with AutoCAD/ Microsoft Office/ AVEVA
Good communication and analytical skills
