The Enterprise UX Technology team is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the core development team for our in-house Smart Desktop Platform. This engineer must be capable of contributing across the entire platform stack, including Rust backend & front-end services, native Windows desktop web applications, and advanced desktop orchestration.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Architect, build, and maintain our internal Smart Desktop Platform using Rust, React/TypeScript, and modern PWA frameworks (Tauri, ElectronJS, or similar), including robust state management, windowing, and responsive UI features.
- Develop and optimize integrations with native Windows APIs and system features, ensuring seamless desktop experiences and secure inter-app communication (FDC3, WebView2).
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, and security through automated testing, performance monitoring, real-time metrics, and role-based access controls (SSO, Okta/OAuth/SAML).
- Help design and maintain a consistent, feature-rich UI component library, and participate in code reviews, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Senior Engineering for complex web or desktop platforms, with deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks.
- Strong experience with Windows desktop integrations, smart desktop/PWA frameworks (Tauri, ElectronJS, NW.js), and performance-critical modules.
- Proficiency in Rust and/or Node.js for backend and serverless architectures.
- Solid understanding of enterprise security, sandboxing, compliance, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Other Key Attributes Include
- Experience with FDC3, inter-app communication, message bus architectures, or building admin/developer portals.
- Familiarity with finance-based workflows.
