Lead the design and implementation of advanced electrical distribution systems for low and high voltage applications to ensure reliable power delivery
Develop and review technical documents including design basis, load lists, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams to support project accuracy
Perform equipment sizing calculations for transformers, generators, cables, and electrical components to meet system requirements
Use system studies software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, Amtech) to model electrical systems and conduct load flow, short circuit, and protection relay setting studies for system safety and performance
Oversee project teams and mentor junior engineers to foster innovation and continuous professional development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals within schedule and budget constraints
Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations to implement best practices in electrical engineering projects
Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and ensure system reliability
Contribute to developing company standards and procedures to enhance electrical engineering project quality and consistency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering focusing on power systems and distribution
Proven expertise in designing low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
Proficiency in system studies software such as ETAP, SKM, or Amtech
Experience with CAD software for electrical design and drafting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Leadership abilities and project management experience
