Senior Engineer Cum PE Assignee (C1906)

Job Description

• Discipline package owner, assist in project planning and scheduling.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance to project requirements.
• Liaise with consultant for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors.
• Assist construction manager & quantity surveyor in project progress claim.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultant and suppliers and other project stakeholder.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Submit shop drawings and material samples for conformance with project specification and requirement.
• Ensure WSH practices to ensure safe working practices are carried out in accordance to local regulations.
• Check site progress and productivity, record and submit progress claims for certification and payment.
• Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities by IES/ACES, or posses a Resident Engineer certificate.
• Min 5 years working experience in construction industry in Civil infrastructure project, experience in LTA Viaduct project is preferred.
• Experience in foundation, RC structure, Viaduct Erection is preferred.
• Experience in LTA Project is preferred.
• Experience in working and coordination between design and construction teams.
• Willing to take up the role of a PE Assignee for the standing supervision of critical construction activities.
