Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Engineer, Building Structures to join our team in Singapore, Singapore. In this role, you will lead the design and analysis of complex building structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our clients.

  • Develop and oversee structural designs for a wide range of building projects, including industrial, and large-scale infrastructure
  • Analyze complex structural problems and develop innovative, efficient solutions
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design approaches
  • Manage project teams and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and international standards, with a focus on Singapore's regulations
  • Utilize advanced structural analysis and design software to optimize building performance and safety
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and construction documents
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering

Qualifications

  • Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building structures
  • Proven experience in retail and hospitality projects, as well as other medium to large-scale developments
  • In-depth knowledge of building design services, associated regulations, and technical standards, particularly in Singapore
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
