Develop and maintain deployment scripts, CL/SQL programs and application configuration across AS/400 and distributed platforms.
Create, modify and schedule batch jobs via Control-M perform post-deployment service/instance restarts and environment health checks.
Execute and verify SIT/UAT/Production deployments develop and direct deployment validation and rollback procedures.
Build, maintain and enhance CI/CD deployment pipelines (Jenkins) and release automation using Rocket DevOps(e) and Rocket Aldon LM(i).Manage source configuration in BitBucket/Git raise and govern change requests through the bank's change-control process.
Troubleshoot deployment and batch defects, root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution across application teams.
Required Experience
Degree in an engineering, computing or related discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.
8+ years in application development/ release/ deployment engineering within a banking or regulated financial-services environment.
Hands-on experience supporting AS/400 enterprise applications, including CL, SQL or equivalent platform administration and deployment activities.
Experience with enterprise deployment automation platforms such as Rocket DevOps(e), Rocket Aldon LM(i), or equivalent enterprise release management tools.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, enterprise source control, workload scheduling and IT service management tools (for example Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, Control-M, JIRA or similar enterprise platforms).
Advantageous
Exposure to WebSphere, Gentran/EDI, HTTPAPI, Sequel, WinSCP.
Experience supporting digital/SME banking or e-banking application suites.
