About Our Group
The AOI Equipment Engineering team is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment to support operational excellence, quality, and productivity targets. Working closely with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, and global engineering teams, the group drives equipment optimization, technology deployment, cost reduction initiatives, and sustainable manufacturing performance. The team plays a critical role in enabling high-volume production while supporting innovation and future technology roadmaps.
About The Role - You Will
- Lead equipment performance improvement initiatives to enhance availability, reliability, OEE, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment sustainability.
- Manage equipment qualifications, upgrades, technology transfers, and new equipment installations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction projects.
- Mentor engineers and technicians while providing technical leadership on equipment engineering standards and best practices.

Your Experience Includes
- At least 6 years of work background in equipment engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, reliability engineering, and maintenance strategies.
- Perform root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, FMEA, or DMAIC.
- Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, sensors, motion control, or industrial equipment controls.
- Supporting equipment qualification, installation, and technology transfer activities.
- Ability to analyze equipment performance data and implement sustainable solutions.
- Proven track record of driving OEE, uptime, productivity, or cost improvement projects.
