About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop and support mission-critical satellite systems. This role covers the full embedded software lifecycle, from design and implementation to validation on target hardware, working closely with system architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit test embedded software using C/C++.
- Verify and validate software on target hardware.
- Support software maintenance and deployed systems.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in future product definition and technical roadmap planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Drive high engineering standards and innovation culture.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development (RTOS and/or Linux).
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and low-level drivers (CAN, UART, SPI).
- Understanding of unit testing and Agile development practices.
- Ability to read schematics and hardware datasheets.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
- Interest in space, satellite, or remote sensing systems.
