Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic hardware used in drone and field operations, ensuring systems are reliable and field-ready.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting of hardware issues, including PCB-level faults, power issues, connectors, and cabling.
- Conduct pre-deployment testing, functional checks, and basic stress testing to reduce field failures.
- Support field teams and pilots with technical troubleshooting via phone or messaging, guiding them through structured diagnostic steps.
- Investigate recurring issues and recommend practical corrective actions to improve operational reliability.
- Maintain clear records of repairs, test results, and common failure modes.
- Manage tools, test equipment, and essential spare parts required for day-to-day operations.
- Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and operational workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, equipment maintenance, or technical support roles.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic hardware using standard diagnostic tools (e.g. multimeters).
- Good practical soldering skills and experience handling PCB-based systems.
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working independently in an operations-driven environment.
- Good command of English (spoken and written) for documentation and coordination with field teams.
- Willingness to support operational schedules, including occasional off-hours troubleshooting when required.
- Prior drone experience is not required relevant technical background and learning ability are essential.
