Perform testing, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment to ensure reliable plant operations.
Maintain and repair DCS, PLC, Fire & Gas (F&G), Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems, analyzers, and laboratory instruments.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including calibration of analytical and metering equipment.
Support control system repairs, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Laboratory teams to resolve technical issues and optimize plant performance.
Participate in safety programs, emergency response drills, and technical training.
Provide guidance and training to plant personnel on instrumentation systems and best maintenance practices.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by the I&E Supervisor.
Requirements
Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, F&G, ESD systems, analyzers, and process instrumentation in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or similar process industries.
Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic instrumentation systems.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and technical manuals.
Experience with gas chromatographs, fiscal metering systems, sampling systems, and laboratory instrumentation is preferred.
Familiarity with cryogenic processes and hydrocarbon handling facilities is advantageous.
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, chemical handling, and Management of Change (MOC) procedures.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
