. Lead and manage Motion Control, Electrical Hardware, and Electrical Design teams, providing both people and technical leadership.
. Define overall technical direction for motion control systems and electrical hardware architecture for semiconductor equipment.
. Guide motion control modelling, control algorithms, and system analysis for high-speed, high-precision applications.
. Oversee electrical schematic design, power electronics, motor drivers, and control boards.
. Support new product development from concept, design, prototype, Alpha/Beta testing through product release.
. Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, cost, and schedule targets.
. Establish and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
. Review and approve key technical designs and resolve complex technical issues.
. Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Applications, QA).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, semiconductor equipment, or precision machinery industry.
Strong knowledge in motion control modelling and algorithms for ultra-high speed and high accuracy applications.
Solid experience in control system analysis and design, including servo motor and motion control systems.
Strong background in digital electronics and power electronics design, including power supplies and motor drivers.
Familiar with analytical and simulation tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD or equivalent.
Knowledge of dynamic frequency response analysis (Bode plot, Nyquist plot).
Familiar with electromagnetic technology for motor design.
Experience with C/C++ programming for real-time control applications is an advantage.
Basic understanding of mechanical system integration is a plus.
