The Role
HDR is looking for a
Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Singapore Building Engineering Services (BES) team. This position will be working on projects across a range of markets, primarily the Mission Critical sector.
The principal activities of the role will be:
- Delivering building services design packages from concept through to construction
- Undertaking detailed engineering calculations, design development and system selection
- Producing coordinated, compliant drawings, reports and specifications
- Ensuring designs meet Singapore codes, standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinating discipline inputs and resolving design interfaces
- Supporting construction-phase activities including inspections and technical queries
- Contributing to technical improvement initiatives and best practice
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Typically, 6-12 years relevant experience
- Familiar with local code and authority submission procedure.
- Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, both for own development as well as that of team members
- Mission Critical Design / Data Centre Design Experience is an added advantage.
- Design experience with BIM is an added advantage.
- Knowledge consulting experience and successful project management experience in the MEP sector is an added advantage.
- Appreciates teamwork and good interpersonal skills.
