The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team and lead the development of complex electronic systems. In this role, you will take ownership of hardware architecture from concept to manufacturing, ensuring high performance and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design: Lead the development of electronic architecture, translating high-level requirements into detailed PCBA board designs.
  • Implementation: Design and integrate PCBA boards containing microprocessors and microcontrollers, managing the entire lifecycle from component selection and schematic capture to board bring-up and prototype verification.
  • Collaboration: Partner effectively with cross-functional engineering teams (e.g., mechanical, software, systems) to ensure seamless product integration.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Create and manage complete engineering documentation, including test protocols and design history files. Ensure all designs meet relevant regulatory standards and lead formal engineering design reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Education & Work Experience: A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, complemented by extensive relevant experience in electrical hardware design.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., OrCAD, Allegro).
  • Hardware Development: Deep experience in microcontroller-based hardware design, including hands-on proficiency with hardware test and debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Problem Solving: Proven track record of resolving complex design challenges, including hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving EMI/EMC/ESD-related issues to ensure product reliability and compliance.

Preferred (Added Advantage) Skills

  • Familiarity with medical device or life-science safety standards (e.g., IEC 61010) and principles of risk management.
