Civil Engineering/Architecture
Our client is an SME construction company (subcon). We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to manage electrical engineering design and oversee on-site execution works. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems while coordinating closely with ACMV, BMS, and other project teams to deliver projects on time and to required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical system design, preparation of shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Oversee site installation works including cabling, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
- Review and approve material submissions, method statements, and equipment specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other M&E teams to resolve technical and site issues.
- Monitor project progress, workmanship quality, and safety compliance for electrical works.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site supervisors.
- Prepare progress reports, as-built drawings, and project handover documentation.
Requirements & Preferences
(Must)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical engineering works in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects within the Subcontractor environment
- Experience in coordination with BMS and other M&E systems is advantageous.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and MS Office applications.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willing to work overtime or during weekends as the project is at its peak
- Willing to work in Tuas (company transportation provided from the designated MRT station).
- Willing to work under contract employment (depending on headcount and company performance)
- Able to join within 1 month
