About the Role
BioSpectrum Asia is seeking a seasoned and highly credible Editorial Leader to serve as the face of our publication across the life sciences and biotechnology ecosystem. This is a strategic, high-impact role requiring deep domain expertise, editorial excellence, and the ability to engage confidently with C-suite leaders, policymakers, and industry pioneers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the editorial face and thought leader representing BioSpectrum Asia across industry platforms, events, and media interactions
- Drive high-quality, insight-led content across print, digital, and multimedia formats
- Conceptualize and curate content-driven conferences, roundtables, and leadership forums
- Identify, invite, and engage top-tier speakers, panelists, and industry experts
- Build and maintain relationships with CXOs, scientists, policymakers, and key stakeholders
- Lead exclusive interviews, opinion pieces, video bytes, and special editorial features
- Ensure all content aligns with industry standards, data accuracy, and global best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen brand positioning and market influence
Key Requirements
- Master's degree (or higher) in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in editorial leadership, scientific journalism, or industry-facing roles
- Strong command over biotech, pharma, medtech, and healthcare ecosystems
- Proven ability to communicate complex scientific concepts with clarity, backed by facts and data
- Established network within the life sciences and healthcare industry
- Experience in moderating panels, hosting discussions, or representing a brand at senior forums
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage C-level executives confidently
