Senior Director of Sales - Global MTO & PSP Markets (Crypto/Fintech/Payments)

Via their flagship product, they offer a cross-border payment solution infrastructure for money transfer operators, local banks, and corporates. With their mobile application, their retail customers and SMEs across Southeast Asia can send money to their families, friends, and business partners around the world.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Director of Sales to lead our client's global sales strategy within the Money Transfer Operator (MTO) and Payment Service Provider (PSP) sectors. This critical leadership role will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth, managing their global sales team, and expanding their footprint into key international markets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the MTO/PSP landscape, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and an extensive network within major banks, MTOs, and payment service providers.

Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a significant focus on the Money Transfer Operator (MTO) and/or Payment Service Provider (PSP) sectors.
- Demonstrated experience with major banks, MTOs (e.g., Western Union, MoneyGram, Ria), and prominent payment service providers is essential.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving substantial revenue growth in complex, global environments.
- Extensive and verifiable network of relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the MTO and PSP industries.
- Deep understanding of the global payments landscape, including regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and technological trends (e.g., real-time payments, blockchain, open banking).
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales force across diverse geographies.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive global sales strategies for the MTO and PSP segments to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market share growth.
- Revenue Management: Own the global MTO/PSP revenue pipeline, forecasting, and P&L. Implement effective pricing strategies and negotiate high-value contracts to maximize profitability.
- Global Market Expansion: Identify and prioritize new market opportunities within the MTO and PSP ecosystems. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for international expansion.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global sales team. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and career development opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key decision-makers within major banks, MTOs, and PSPs globally. Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the industry.
- Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and forge strategic partnerships that accelerate market penetration and enhance our product/service offerings.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and technological advancements within the MTO and PSP space to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, operations, and legal teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives and to effectively bring new solutions to market.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular, insightful reports on sales performance, market trends, and pipeline status to senior leadership. Utilize data to drive informed decision-making.
