Job Responsibilities:
- Provide appropriate medical nutrition therapy in both inpatient and outpatient services independently
- Maintainconsistent standards of care and assist to manage dietetic services effectively
- Liaise withFoodservice on provision of healthy & quality meals and therapeutic dietrequirements
- Contribute toevidence‑based practice,training & education, and research where applicable
For Senior Dietitians, they are also expected to:
- Design and enhance established protocols and standards to achieve departmental goals
- Lead and support quality improvement initiatives, service development, and clinical audits
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and training to junior dietitians and students
Job Requirements:
Education
- MSc Nutrition and Dietetics or
- BSc Nutrition and Dietetics/ Dieteticsor
- Postgraduate diploma in Dietetics or
- Qualifications recognised by Ministryof Health, Singapore
Experience
Dietitian:
- Must have completed an internshipprogramme in a hospital, preferably 3 to 6 months duration
Senior Dietitian:
- Must have completed an internshipprogramme in a hospital, preferably 3 to 6 months duration
- At least more than 2 years experienceas a Dietitian and demonstrate competencies expected of this job grade
- Postgraduate certification in arelevant and specialised discipline or clinical attachment in area ofspecialisation preferred
Competency
- Proficiency in written/ spoken English,fluent in spoken Mandarin, Malay or Tamil
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Exceland PowerPoint preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication,and stakeholder‑engagement skills
- Effective problem solving, planning andorganizing skills
