Position Summary
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and scaling a
microservices-based, containerised hybrid infrastructure across
cloud (AWS) and on-prem environments. You will also be involved in integrating
AI-driven automation and operational efficiencies into engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-prem environments
- Oversee on-prem infrastructure including servers, firewalls (e.g. Fortigate), and network equipment (e.g. Cisco switches)
- Enhance system observability through monitoring, tracing, and service mesh optimisation
- Design and implement AI-driven workflows and automation pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using an automation-first mindset
- Drive DevOps best practices across both tooling and engineering culture
- Implement and maintain GitOps-based deployment models
- Ensure systems are designed with scalability, security, and reliability in mind
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines supporting multiple deployment strategies
- Support and scale blockchain infrastructure to enable new integrations and growth
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem: secret & cert management, network engine, security engine, ingress, CSI, etc.
- Experience in automating tasks with AI and scripts
- Experience in AWS, and on-premise infrastructure management
- Experience in hardware management: firewalls, switches, bare metal, data center network
- Knowledge of Docker and multi-stage/multi-architecture builds, registries, and best image practices
- Experience in one of the monitoring systems (Prometheus stack, Influx stack, Datadog, New Relic etc.),
- Experience with GitOps development workflow (Argocd, etc.) and Infrastructure-as-Code approach (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible)
- 5+ years of experience and deep knowledge of - Linux/Unix Server System Administration, Network Administration, infrastructure management and maintenance experience
- Understanding and capabilities to manage, monitor, and optimize network traffic: TCP and UDP; comfortable diagnosing problems on the wire
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines
- Experience and fundamental knowledge of blockchain is a big plus
