Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a DevOps Lead to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure infrastructure and DevOps capabilities, enabling reliable platform delivery through automation, observability, and operational excellence across cloud and hybrid environments.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline;
• Strong hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and platform operations;
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure engineering and operations;
• Experience in operational automation and scripting;
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and software-defined networking;
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Jenkins;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes;
• Experience working in hybrid infrastructure environments across VMware, AWS, Azure, and GCP;
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools;
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, Agile methodology, ITIL, and infrastructure security and compliance.

Desired Skill-set

• Ability to drive infrastructure automation and platform engineering initiatives;
• Ability to establish and maintain technical and interoperability standards across platforms;
• Strong bias for operational hygiene, documentation, and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and operations of scalable and secure infrastructure services;
• Break down complex infrastructure challenges into executable plans and manage dependencies and timelines;
• Define, implement, and continuously improve build, release, and deployment practices;
• Collaborate with engineering, product, system integrators, and operations teams to build automated CI/CD pipelines;
• Drive infrastructure automation and platform engineering initiatives to improve productivity and operational efficiency;
• Manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments ensuring performance, reliability, and governance;
• Establish and enforce standards for task planning and execution discipline;
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response capabilities across systems;
• Provide technical leadership in DevOps practices, security, compliance, and operational excellence;
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders by proactively sharing risks, mitigations, and delivery status.
