Senior DevOps Engineer
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and Kubernetes. You will apply DevOps practices to deliver high-quality solutions, conduct workshops to identify challenges, and develop transformation roadmaps.
Working closely with project teams and business stakeholders, you will provide technical expertise to enable innovation through both traditional development and AI-augmented workflows. You will also coach teams on best practices and approach projects with a strong engineering consulting mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, maintain, and support scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Deliver reliable and secure cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, security, and testing tools.
- Develop multi-stage CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more frequent releases.
- Automate build and deployment processes for delivery teams.
- Document and share knowledge on DevSecOps solutions and practices.
- Conduct workshops to identify challenges and define transformation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement end-to-end DevOps solutions.
- Provide technical consulting and strategic guidance on engineering best practices.
- Leverage AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve efficiency and workflows.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
- Understanding of prompt engineering and effective AI collaboration.
- Ability to validate and ensure quality of AI-generated code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-evolving AI landscape.
Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of cloud computing (deployment, costing, HA/DR).
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure platforms.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, SAM, ARM, Bicep).
- Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
- Familiarity with security tools (SAST, DAST).
- Strong database skills (RDBMS and NoSQL such as MySQL, Oracle, Elasticsearch).
Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in platform engineering, automation, or DevOps roles.
