Job Description
A research and innovation division focused on digital manufacturing and supply chain transformation is seeking a Senior Development Scientist to lead and contribute to projects in supply chain innovation using advanced data analytics and modern AI techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop efficient and accurate algorithms for supply chain optimization and predictive modeling.
- Implement advanced analytical and AI methodologies and transition them into production-ready solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in areas such as data analytics, generative AI, and advanced machine learning.
- Apply expertise in statistical analysis, neural networks, natural language processing, and data augmentation techniques.
- Continuously enhance technical skills to stay current with emerging technologies.
- Apply domain knowledge (e.g., logistics, transport, energy, or related industries) to real-world operational challenges.
- Follow established software development processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Support business development efforts through stakeholder engagement and project proposals.
Job Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- PhD in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Analytics.
- Solid foundation in mathematical modeling, algorithm design, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++) and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Experience in supply chain optimization (e.g., planning, scheduling, or network design) is advantageous.
- Demonstrated research or publication experience in AI, optimization, or related fields is preferred.
