Job Description:

Delivery & Architecture

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery across a portfolio of client digital transformation projects, covering business process automation, system integration, and web application development

• Design and build Azure-based solutions including web portals, AI-powered document processing pipelines, and enterprise system automation scripts

• Develop AI logic leveraging Azure AI Document Intelligence and Azure OpenAI (AOAI) Studio for intelligent PDF extraction, data processing, and workflow automation

• Build and maintain Azure Functions, Static Web Apps, and PostgreSQL-backed services in line with client architecture and infrastructure requirements

• Develop enterprise system automation scripts covering procurement, goods receipt, and payment cycle workflows

• Ensure architecture decisions align with client IT security policies, governance frameworks, and infrastructure standards

Project & Team Management

• Act as Scrum Master for the delivery team - facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews

• Manage and mentor India-based contract developers and Business Partner's developers, ensuring quality and delivery timelines

• Report daily progress and project status via JIRA to the client Project Lead and The Company's management

• Identify risks and blockers early and coordinate resolutions across stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements

• Engage directly with client business consultants and business unit stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate requirements

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories

• Present solution designs, progress updates, and technical recommendations to senior stakeholders

• Support proposal and scope definition for upcoming project pipelines Quality & Governance

• Own QA/QC processes for the delivery team - define test plans, review test cases, and ensure release quality

• Enforce code review standards, documentation practices, and version control hygiene

• Support IT security reviews and ensure delivery complies with client cybersecurity and data governance requirements

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python, including Azure Functions and RPA/GUI automation scripting

• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud: Static Web Apps, Azure Functions, PostgreSQL, Azure AI Document Intelligence, AOAI Studio

• Experience with SAP GUI Scripting for business process automation

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript or similar frameworks)

• Experience with JIRA, GitHub, and Agile project tooling Preferred / Bonus Skills

• IT Security / Cybersecurity awareness and experience with secure development practices

• Power Platform experience: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI

• Data visualisation tools: Tableau or equivalent

• IoT background or integration experience

• Familiarity with SAP ERP modules (MM, FI, SD) Certifications (Required or Preferred)

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile Scrum Master certification

• Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)

• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-204, or above) - preferred

• ISTQB or equivalent QA/QC certification - advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience

• Minimum 2 years in a team lead, tech lead, or project management role

• Experience working in a blended onshore-offshore delivery model is plus

• Exposure to corporate clients or business culture is advantageous

• Experience in supply chain, trading, or financial systems is a plus

Soft Skills & Attributes

• Strong business acumen - able to understand and communicate business value, not just technical outputs

• Excellent stakeholder communication skills Japan language skill will be an advantage for communicating with Japan HQ

• Self-starter with the ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-moving pilot environment

• Willingness to travel overseas monthly for team management and onsite collaboration

• Collaborative, mentoring mindset - able to develop
