Senior Design Manager, Planning & Technical

A Day in the Life:

. Lead and manage the technical design phase of the projects from conceptualisation to detailed design

. Ensure designs are aligned with project goals and client requirements

. Oversee the design process and ensure compliance with technical standards

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions

. Provide technical expertise in areas such as architectural design, structural engineering, and MEP systems

. Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications

. Collaborate with project managers to integrate technical design considerations into project budgets and schedules

. Advice the design team on any design conflicts

Who are We Looking For:

. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or any related field

. Minimum 8 years of experience in technical design for construction projects

. Strong proficiency in relevant design software and tools

. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information

. Ability to create technical hand sketches

. Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Revit, Sketch up, and familiarity with Photoshop and Rhino

. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

. Good time-management abilities

. Good understanding / knowledge on latest construction methodology
