Senior Design Engineer – Electrical, PS SEA

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical drawings, BOM, and technical documentation for manufacturing.

• Ensure compliance with ISO and regional electrical design standards.

• Collaborate with procurement to source, qualify, and validate suppliers and components.

• Work closely with manufacturing to support electrical installation and ensure smooth production flow.

• Support sales and industrial teams in tender design requirements and timely submissions.

• Develop, test, and validate control systems including PLCs, controllers, HMI, AVR, and governors.

• Program and configure controllers/PLC/HMI when required.

• Provide remote and on-site technical troubleshooting support.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce cost.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure engineering standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 7-12 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in SEE Electrical design software.

• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, generators, switchgear, and transformers.

• Experience in process change management tools and methodologies.

• Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering design and control systems.
