Job Description:
Mandatory is : Should have recent hands-on working experience in Retail Banking as a Senior (Data) Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) - Datamarts, Data lakes, Cloudera/Hadoop, BI/data Ecosystem.
Required Skills & Experience
- 14+ years of relevant experience in banking technology delivery, system analysis, or data platform delivery.
- Recent working experience in Retail Banking domain or industry is a must (2+ years).
- Strong retail banking domain knowledge across products, processes, customer lifecycle, and operational data.
- Must have recent experience as a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) or Senior Data Business Consultant/Analyst in Retail Banking projects or industry.
- Should have hands-on good exposure/experience to datamarts, data lakes, Cloudera/Hadoop ecosystem, reporting platforms, BI/data consumption layers, and enterprise data flows.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, data lineage, ETL/ELT, reconciliation, data quality, and reporting requirements.
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders, vendors, technology teams, and business users independently.
- Strong experience in project planning, delivery tracking, RAID management, status reporting, and governance forums.
- Excellent documentation skills including BRD, FSD, data mapping, interface specs, test support documents, and executive updates.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, ownership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Mature, structured, and hands-on profile who can operate independently in a complex banking environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with regional or multi-country banking platforms.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting, management reporting, customer analytics, or operational dashboards.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Cloudera, Hive, Impala, Hadoop, ETL tools, or data catalog/lineage tools
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Management:
- Own end-to-end delivery planning, schedule tracking, milestone management, and status reporting.
- Manage project deliverables across requirement, design, build, SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.
- Coordinate with business users, technology teams, data teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery governance, quality control, documentation standards, and stakeholder alignment.
System Analyst Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional and system requirements.
- Prepare BRD/FSD, interface specifications, data mapping documents, impact assessments, and solution notes.
- Work closely with solution architects, developers, data engineers, testing teams, and production support teams.
- Support SIT/UAT planning, test scenario review, defect triage, and business sign-off.
Retail Banking & Data Responsibilities:
- Work on retail banking data initiatives covering customer, account, deposits, loans, cards, channels, transactions, and regulatory/management reporting.
