Lead the Southeast Asia data team, overseeing project delivery across analytics, AI, and cloud solutions. Manage and develop a team of data professionals while serving as technical advisor to clients and prospects. Balance hands-on technical work with business development and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of data professionals in Southeast Asia, applying APAC Data strategy on local level
- Forecast resourcing needs and distribute work across project delivery and learning/development
- Mentor team members: provide feedback, develop skills, support career progression
- Monitor team wellbeing and job satisfaction
- Plan, design, and oversee delivery of data projects across the region
- Allocate technical resources and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements
- Act as primary technical advisor and escalation point for client stakeholders
- Understand client needs, identify gaps, and define long-term analytics roadmaps
- Communicate the business value of marketing technology, analytics, AI, media, and cloud solutions
- Track project economics: manage effective rates, forecast milestones, monitor commercial performance
- Maintain client relationships and support retention efforts
- Support growth / pre-sales functions: contribute to pitches by understanding prospect needs, proposing solutions roadmaps, developing cost estimates
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in repeatable processes
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on experience with GA, GTM, GCP or similar data analytics stack
- Proven ability to deliver actionable insights from data analysis
- Strong communication in Korean and previous experience working with Korean clients
- Ability to explain technical concepts and business value to non-technical audiences
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing junior team members
- Plus: Architecture & Implementation experience AB testing, CDP, BI tools or similar Martech stack
