They are looking for an exceptional AI Data Scientist to join a high-performing data science team responsible for building intelligent data products that directly enable predictive modelling and systematic investment research.

What You'll Do

You'll design and build next-generation AI solutions that transform vast volumes of structured and unstructured data into intelligent products used by world-class quantitative researchers.

Your work will include:

• Building AI-powered data products using machine learning, generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Designing, training, fine-tuning and deploying advanced AI/ML models using proprietary and external datasets

• Developing production-grade end-to-end ML pipelines from feature engineering through deployment and monitoring

• Applying Generative AI to problems including:

• Semantic search
• Knowledge extraction
• Intelligent classification
• Summarisation
• Workflow automation

• Partnering with engineering, product and research teams to solve complex business challenges using scalable AI

• Evaluating state-of-the-art open-source models, commercial AI platforms and emerging technologies

• Building robust data pipelines capable of handling both structured and unstructured datasets

• Running experiments, evaluating model performance and continuously improving production models

• Ensuring AI systems are scalable, reliable and deployed using responsible AI best practices

What We're Looking For

We're seeking researchers and builders who enjoy solving difficult technical problems.

You'll ideally bring:

✔ PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or a related discipline

✔ Strong publication record at leading AI or Machine Learning conferences

✔ 3+ years of commercial experience in Data Science or Applied Machine Learning

✔ Expert-level Python and SQL skills

✔ Experience building predictive machine learning models using large-scale datasets

✔ Experience with modern AI tooling, LLMs and Generative AI applications

✔ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams

✔ Curiosity, intellectual rigor and a passion for continuous learning

Experience within financial markets or quantitative finance is advantageous but not essential. Exceptional AI talent from technology, research labs or other industries is strongly encouraged to apply.
