This senior Data Scientist will lead AI/ML initiatives within credit management, focusing on developing models to assess default risk, forecast payment behaviors, and optimize credit limits. This role involves designing, building, and productionizing predictive models, leveraging advanced analytics for customer risk profiling, and enabling robust data exploration for marketing campaigns.

skills and experience required

• A Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Machine Learning & Statistical Modelling: Including linear regression, GLMs, time series forecasting, supervised learning (e.g., gradient boosted trees, neural networks), segmentation, clustering, design of experiments, and causal inference, especially in the context of credit risk assessment and financial behavior prediction.
• LLMs & Generative AI: Fine-tuning and evaluation of large language models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA), prompt engineering, red-teaming, and performance monitoring.
• Efficient Data Manipulation: Strong skills in SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop/Hive, and Databricks.
