We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Data Center Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in data centre operations, infrastructure support, and on-site technical execution. You will be responsible for supporting critical data centre activities and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data centre operations and infrastructure support activities.
Handle server racking, stacking, mounting, and decommissioning.
Carry out structured cabling, labeling, patching, and cable management.
Support hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Coordinate with internal teams and clients for project execution.
Monitor and maintain data centre equipment and infrastructure.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of activities, inventory, and changes.
Provide smart hands / remote hands support as required.
Assist in incident resolution and escalation management.
Support migration, rollout, and upgrade activities in data centre environments.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in data centre operations or infrastructure support.
Strong hands-on knowledge of server hardware, cabling, and rack management.
Good understanding of data centre best practices and operational standards.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or after-hours when required.
Experience in enterprise data centres or managed service environments.
Exposure to smart hands support, remote hands, and field support services.
Knowledge of basic networking and storage infrastructure.
Experience supporting customer-facing infrastructure projects.
