Salt is looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst (Product Manager) for a Social Media client for 12 months & renewable contract role. This will be the first Product Manager hire in the wider team and will be an excellent platform for someone who does not have prior experience to leverage on their strong data skills to steer their experience in this direction. You will get the opportunity to scale and drive global products.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the technical product vision and strategy across a single product line.
- Develops and maintains detailed product roadmaps, incorporating technical input and aligning with business priorities, focusing on specific phases like ideation or post-launch optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define & draft technical requirements and support product delivery.
- Hands-on in-depth analysis to proactively form insights and to identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform strategic decisions and improve technical solutions.
- Work with UX/UI designers, TPM and technical users to support cohesive product strategies.
Qualifications:
- Have 4+ years of hands-on experience working in business analysis, machine learning or data science. Have worked on real-world AI products or systems from model development to deployment and monitoring and understand the trade-offs across approaches (e.g., rules-based, ML, GenAI)
- Deep understanding of modern software architectures, distributed systems, and cloud technologies
- Ability to evaluate when to use LLMs, RAG, automation, or backend logic
- Proven ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams and understand the implications of architectural decisions on scalability and performance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization within complex systems.
