Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to support business reporting, dashboard development, and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights and develop visually compelling reports that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and cleansing using Power Query.
• Create meaningful visualizations and KPIs to support business performance monitoring.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and dashboards.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for enhanced analytics and reporting.
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI or other BI tools.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Trading, or Capital Markets.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI best practices.
• Familiarity with Excel, Power Pivot, and data visualization principles.
• Microsoft Power BI certification is an advantage
